This 10" Nitro Vanadium Stainless chef knife is perfect for bigger carving and slicing jobs, like brisket, or turkey for example.   The ricasso area at the rear spine is bead blasted to a matt finish, and ethced with my makers mark.  The spine is hand sanded to a satin finish.  The handle has a green and white stabilized Mammoth Molar fossil lnlaid into each side, bordered with polished stainless steel and a really nice set of maple scales.  This unique material is thousands of years old.    Leather sheath with scale pattern, and sewn with green thread to match the handle.   Steel case, honing rod, mineral oil and cloth.    A really nice gift for the grillmaster or Chef in your life.
